These are a few of the conversations I have had with my sweetie in the past few weeks. I am writing them exactly as they happened...
Hollyn drug every single toy that she could from the playroom to the living room. The whole room was covered in toys.
Me: "Who made this mess?"
I sat her on the big potty to let her try to use the bathroom. She looked at me with fear and excited yelled," Don't Don't Don't drop me in the toilet Don't drop the baby in the toilet!"
This is officially her longest sentence ever spoked.
I was laying down with her in my bed, of course. She was acting silly and wouldn't settle down.
Me: "Hollyn, if you don't be still and quiet you will go to your own bed."
Hollyn: "No! My bed is yucky and my bed is gross!"
Whenever a chair moves across the floor, or a similar noise is made, she says, "Whose that tooted?"
She also likes to tell the sackers at HEB "good job." If it is a guy she always says, "Good job Tom!"
Scott lays down with her to get her to sleep sometimes. If he gets up to leave the room she screams, "I lost my daaaddy! I lost my daaaaddy!"
As we were leaving BSF last week...
Hollyn: "I go with Brad. I go with Brad and get a new mommy!"
Me: "You would like a new mommy?"
Hollyn: In her highest chipmunk voice, "U-huh!"
Me: "Well, I can promise you that your new mommy would not let you sleep in her bed all night!"
Hollyn: gives a fake, nervous laugh and says "That funny mama!"
