Month Four

Chunky Monkey!! Hollyn weighs 15 pounds and is 24 1/4 inches long! I love her little chubby legs! Our little precious is still not sleeping throught the night. She did for two weeks and now she doesn't! She started rolling over like crazy this month. I am having a little germaphobic issues- she has started rolling off her blanket and onto the carpet! It freaks me out! I am not sure how I will ever handle crawling! This little thing loves to be entertained and is not great at playing by herself yet. She is funny, funny and will let you know if you aren't doing things exactly the way she wants them! I am so blessed to have her and to be staying at home with her. Some days I am sure she is bored with me, there is only so many things you can do with a 4 month old! I love these pics of her playing with Scott.

Jill!! I LOVE your pictures of Hollyn! She is SO adorable and beautiful! I love her chunky cheeks. I have a chunky monkey too, thunder thighs are the best aren't they!! :)

I just wanted to give you a little encouragement. I have a non-sleeper on my hands too. Seriously, for the first 8-9 months Josiah did NOT want to be anywhere but in my arms to sleep. He is still not sleeping through the night yet (at 10 1/2 months...ah!!) and I have just come to accept that that is his personality and one day when he is ready he will. My brother never slept much (and still doesn't) so I figure that's where he got it from.

Reading your posts made me laugh because we have gone through much of the same things with our little ones. Do you ever feel like you're just about to lose it? I do!
Something that really helped us is, I got a baby carrier that I carried Josiah around in so I could get some things done around the house. It has saved my life! He loved and still loves riding around on my back or chest. Until he was 7 months old, he rode around in it even at the grocery store because he hated being in his carseat that much and it was a nightmare to go get groceries.

Anyway, I'm writing a novel! I'll stop now! I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone, and I feel your pain, and totally understand your level of fatigue and tiredness. HUGS!! :)
