Baby Dedication

Sunday October 26th we had a baby dedication for Hollyn. We sent out invitations to family and held a lunch at my parents' house aftwerwards. I included a verse on the invitations that I wanted to be the theme of the day.
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!" Psalm 126:3

It was a big deal preparing for the moment that the pastor would hold her. (If you are just tuning in- Hollyn Claire is a bit unpredictable.) I prayed about it and even went for a "trial run" with the pastor! The Lord answered ALL of our prayers down to each tiny detail. She did amazing and it was a precious moment. It is so great that we worship a God that cares about the small things in our lives. We had the pastor read these verses:
"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:5-7
She recived her first Bible and a letter to be opened when she accepts Jesus as her Savior. I have already started praying about that day, that she would accept Him when she can fully understand and remain faithful to Him. I pray that she would invite Him into her heart at a young age, and that she would remain innocent and not be led astray by things of the world. Here are the pics...

(Oh, our blog is private, so if you'd like to join in, email me- bkpolnick@yahoo.com)

Hey Jillian! Hollyn did do so great, and she looked like a doll. I am so glad we were able to be there for her day...even if we weren't even in Waco for 24 hours! How is the crying it out going? By the way...my pants are already tight. Oh the joys of third pregnancies!!! Yikes!

She is so beautiful in her dress!! I'm so glad she was good for you during the dedication.

The only thing I have found to arranging blog pics easier is to upload them in the order I want them on the page and to upload them BEFORE writing anything. Then you can write in between everything and you don't have to move the pictures around, which is a pain. Hope that helps!
