On the 13th Hollyn Claire will be 9 months old!! I had to write about it today because she is taking a great nap! She is funny and feisty! I am starting to believe this is her personality. I really don't know why it took me 9 whole months to figure this out! Hollyn has learned some new tricks during her 8th month:
She "dances" by kicking only one leg and bouncing up and down
Will play Pat-a-Cake when you ask her to
Waves hi and bye-bye
Says Da-Da- even though he isn't the one who gets up with her every single night!
Roars like a dinosaur if you roar at her first
Throws a fit when you won't let her have wires, or cell phones, or anything else that is not a toy
She is officially everywhere in our house and I can't leave her "out" for one second!
She has rocked our little world as we knew it and I wouldn't trade it for all the amazing nights of sleep that have seemed to escape us...

I don't know if you'll find this as encouragement or despair, but we just this past week had Creighton sleep through the night without me going to get him--- he's two. He cried for five minutes and then three the following night and then never again. Maybe your time will just come and your sleepless nights will just disappear. I'm hoping that for you.
Oh and she's a precious little nine month old!
Just this evening I told my children how tired they make me :) but how I wouldn't trade them for anything!
she's a beautiful, funny little girl. Yea for a great nap today! :)
