Tinker Bell

The love of Disney Princesses and Fairies has begun! Hollyn really likes Tinkerbell, so I decided to let her be that for Halloween. I did change it a little- I went with a non traditional Tinkerbell costume. I just know we are doomed to be a Disney Princess for the next few years. I didn't realize it, but those stories can just be downright scary and not appropriate for little kids at all. When I read the books to her, I change up the story quite a bit. (Mainly the scary parts or the parts about an evil step mother, etc.)
The other day Hollyn got out a book about Cinderella and started "reading" it to us. Then she decided that we needed to pray. She said, "God, thank you for Cinderella and help her to read her Bible! Amen."

what a beautiful Tinker Bell costume! She looks so adorable in it! I do agree, those disney princess movies have some pretty scary parts in it for little kids. The witches always scared me as a little girl!!

Those are the cutest pictures! She is getting so big! I can't believe she said that about Cinderella, too funny! She is so wise and makes such a cute tinkerbell!

I completely agree with you about the movies. I wish the DVD had a menu option for the "3-year-old version" of the movie, you know just the happy parts and songs. Ava makes me fast forward all scenes with Ursula. H looks fabulous in her costume too!
