Hollyn Read My Previous Post

I have been a little bummed about her ability to say Da Da and to use it correctly and not just babble. Apparently, my child read my blog yesterday and felt sorry for me. Last night she began her little crying show at 2:30am. I let her cry for 30 minutes and then her cries got quieter, but I heard a strange banging sound. She had moved to an area in the crib where my monitor could not see her. I had a feeling that she might be stuck through a slat or something, so I thought I would just go peak in from the doorway. I pushed the door open and her Go-Go Gadget ears heard the faint sound. She flipped to her stomach and literally squealed with delight. She then stood up, looked at me and said, "Ma Ma!"
So I did what every mom would do, I shut the door and let her finish crying. NOT! (throwback to the early 90s) Of course I had to pick her up and rock her. I know what you are thinking, sucker! I don't care it made my 2:30 wake-up call well worth it!

Oh wow!! How sweet!! Josiah only says Mama when he really wants me. He says Dada for most everything else too.

Sleeping has digressed big time! I think with all the moving and out of whack schedules has made him feel insecure. We are up 3-5 times a night.. ah!! I am slowly working on completely weaning him because in March, Justin and I are going on a couples retreat and kiddos aren't invited. So, my goal is to have him completely weaned by the end of February. It kind of makes me sad thinking about it.

Glad you guys are doing good! Hollyn is SO beautiful. I love reading all the things you write about her. She makes me laugh and I haven't even met her. Have a great weekend. :)

That is so sweet, I would have done the same thing! Hazel will say Ma Ma or Da Da some, but doesn't know what she's saying. It sounds like Hollyn really knew what she was saying that time. Hazel has had some bad nights recently, it is frustrating because I don't know if something is wrong or she's just waking up?? Last night she slept through the night but has been waking up at 6 am when she sleeps all night. I hope we can see that cutie pie soon!
Have a good week!

Oh I remember Hudson saying mama and laughing and smiling all cute at me in the middle of the night while I was nursing or changing his diaper... I'd think, "please stop being cute! you are making it very hard to stay mad at you!"

I'd do just like you're doing. :)
