Mother's Day Past & Present

I was not a blogger a year ago, so this is me and Hollyn on my first Mother's Day. I remember that she slept for 6 hours straight the night before, and I was so excited! It seems like a long time ago, but then again it seems like just last week!

This is me and my cutie on Mother's Day 2009. This year, she gave me another present involving sleep. The night before, she slept in her crib from 10:00 till 7:00! Thank you Hollyn! I got a great card from her also. She and Scott went and picked it out together. On the front, it has a picture of two screaming babies and on the inside it says, "Aren't you glad I wasn't twins?" I thought that was appropriate for our situation. (no offense Meg!)

I really didn't think being a mom would be so hard. I think mainly because it always involves your heart. I knew it would be the most rewarding feeling ever, and it definitely is. I am sure I will look back at this stage of sleepless nights and wish I had it back. It HAS to be easier than letting your daughter go on her first date, or get in a car with her friends, or go to college. I think I will be a mess when she goes to Kindergarten!

Hollyn Claire, I love you and I am so thrilled to be your mama!

I never thought of it that way but dealing with a crying night is so much easier!

Hey! If you have an Imac, you can use an Iphoto editing tool that does that...I think I used antique.

If you use a PC, you can use Picasa, and there's an editing button on there too.

If you still can't find it, let me know!

I loved your Mother's Day post! So sweet!
