15 Months
Hollyn, you are 15 months old!! I will probably not be posting monthly updates about you as much anymore because now you are a TODDLER!! I am really sad that you are growing up, but I have so much fun with you at each new age. You are still a bit dramatic, very very funny and always on the go. You can say over 50 words right now. (I will not bore everyone else with these, but I typed a list for you and will put it in your baby book.) You weigh 21.6 lbs. You are 29 1/2 inches long and your little head is 17 inches around. You have pretty much dropped your morning nap and are pretty consistent about taking a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. (Thank you!!) Sleep still escapes us, but you have had a few REALLY good nights in the past two weeks. Yea!! This picture makes you look really old to me!! I asked you how old you were, and you are holding up your little finger. The funny thing is, when you do that you always say, "two!"
Your friend Will came to visit a few weeks ago. He is six months old. He really liked you!! I love this picture of you both. It looks like y'all are about to go on a date! Not for a loooong time mister!
This is what happens when I leave the room for literally one minute! Hopefully tattoo artist is not in your future...
You love to go swimming! I am so glad because I thought you might be a little afraid of it this summer, but you are a little fish! I love you!!
Your friend Will came to visit a few weeks ago. He is six months old. He really liked you!! I love this picture of you both. It looks like y'all are about to go on a date! Not for a loooong time mister!

i am telling you, when mug dropped to 1 nap...it was a dream. his little 45 minuters disappeared and turned into a long normal kid nap! hope that happens for you to!
I think that little Will is the cutest thing EVER! (I'm not biased though, am I?!) :)
Ok - that pic of Hollyn drawing all over herself is HYSTERICAL! That is definately a keeper. Was that the same day we were there?
We need to get together again, for longer next time. It was fun! and there is no denying our kiddo's like each other! :)
You crack me up Jill! I can't believe you typed up all 50 words that she can say! Do you think you'll do that for your next child?
I'm so glad you've had some good nights of longer amounts of sleep! Progress is progress right? Even if it is slow. :) She is looking much more grown up now. I can't believe she is already 15 months old! wow!! I think I'm going to cry a river when Josiah turns 2, it makes me so sad too that they grow up so fast.
Oh yeah, and the picture of her drawing on herself is hysterical! Josiah has done that numerous times! We bought him some color-wonder markers (they only mark on specific color-wonder paper) and coloring book and he will actually SIT DOWN (shocking!) and draw for quite some time. Although, if he can reach a pen off of the counter he will take it and hide it and later I will find pen marks on our couch. ha ha! :)
Great pics! Hollyn is precious as always! Let's do lunch again soon.
jill--thanks so much for the encouraging comment on my blog!! thanks too for the Scripture--we are taking our Bible to the hosp. for shane to read me Scriptures like those friday morning. hope y'all are doing great!! come meet these boys whenever you want!!
Yay for the one nap!! And that picture of her "artwork" is HIARIOUS! I'm praying that 15 months will be the key for sleep:-)
